The Heraldry is not an issue well known among people. Rarely do history teachers comment about it. I dont know exactly why this actually happen, but the lack of literature on the market can be a good indication. I have done research on the origins, history and coat of thousands of surnames, over a period of more than ten years. I've seen a few publications on the topic in Portugal, France, Italy and the UK. The people attach great value to the significance of their first names and strangely ignore their surnames. Many do not even know that there is a family crest, where often their ancestors fought wars to win the right to use it. I have written a work direct and simple to understand. That our future generations will know more about this part of history.
