He grew up in and around the busy hotels and restaurants of Ocho Rios one of Jamaica’s main tourist resort area’s. After leaving school Ricardo went straight into the catering industry.At an early age Ricardo knew that he wanted to be a chef, so he went to Catering College while working part time at the widely known and established Sunset Grande Hotel in Ocho Rios whilst also doing some part time work with other various catering groups, learning as much as he could before coming to London. After Graduating from college Ricardo got himself a job at another one of Jamaica’s beautiful hotels, sandcastles in Ocho Rios which became his permanent job before his arrival in the U.k.Upon his arrival in London Ricardo has worked in some of London’s restaurant’s improving his chef techniques all around and has made the most of his experiences. Ricardo currently work’s at one of London’s top private school as a chef.As well as working at a private school Ricardo is also starting his own catering business which he is highly dedicated to. Ricardo is highly ambitious in wanting to achieve opening one of the top and most well known Caribbean catering services in London, as well as opening his own Caribbean restaurant. As well as Caribbean food Ricardo can cook English, Chinese, Japanese, Italian and other’s but specializes exclusively in Caribbean cuisine, all of in which he wants to incorporate in his catering and restaurant services.
