Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is a very common peripheral neuropathy in the upper limb (1). It mainly affects middle-aged and elderly women. Of all entrapment neuropathies, it is the most common (approximately 90% of cases) (2). People suffering from CTS present the following symptoms: pain, paresthesias and numbness in the first three fingers and half of the 4th, burning sensation, palmar edema and loss of strength. These symptoms can worsen at night and also depending on the phase in which they are according to the electrophysiological study (1,2).
