Abstract: This paper deals with the use of a DOC method as a reference tool for aircraft comparison in a low cost short-haul environment. The main objective is to establish a means of measurement with which we can compare two or more regional jets. The figures calculated in this paper are based on actual data entered in a MCDU, they intend to be  realistic but even in the case they were deviated from reality the important point is to be able to use the method as a reference.
