Hon. Secretary of the Civil Mediation Council from its foundation to 2010, Jonathan is an Accredited Mediator and a member of the mediator panels of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Trust Mediation, National Mediation, ADR Chambers (having been its CEO) , and Clerksroom. Jonathan has completed many hundreds of mediations and has enjoyed enviable feedback. Jonathan was awarded Mediation Achiever of the year at the 2009 Personal Injury Awards and adds arbitration and football disciple to his CV as part of his commitment to sport. Jonathan Dingle is a director of the LSM and a major force in the development of mediation in the United Kingdom and worldwide. Deeply involved in the growth and then resurgence of the profession since 1996, he has worked globally to develop mediation as a leading alternative to conflict and litigation using his skills in advocacy honed as a senior barrister.

Yet his passion is for teaching and guiding new mediators, and creating the next generation and in that he has (with Judith) gained a deserved reputation for inspiring and motivating students of the profession, however eminent or however young. He is completely committed to ensuring that all LSM?s alumni achieve the high standards to which the profession aspires and, more than that, enjoy gaining the knowledge and carrying out the work. Judith Kelbie
Solicitor of the Supreme Court and Mediator

Judith is a highly successful mediator with an international reputation. She is a peer-elected independent mediator on the Board of the Civil Mediation Council now in her third term of service. As a Mediator, she has an exceptional reputation and is appointed regularly for major claims. Having addressed the OSCE in Warsaw and the European Conference in Paris recently, Judith has an exceptional knowledge of training and accreditation issues, and has trained students from New Zealand to Newcastle and Ireland to India. Judith won Mediation Achiever 2010. In announcing the award of Personal Injury Mediation Achiever 2010 to Judith Kelbie on 18th November 2010 the judges praised her outstanding ability to resolve seemingly intractable cases and her extraordinary commitment to mediation which made her the clear leader in her field . This award, Judith says put the icing on the cake of a remarkable year. 2011 and 2012 were equally busy and her commitment as a mediator and an assessor of mediators remains absolute.
